Probably not.
Im not very enamored of Brownback anymore. I think he has been in DC too long (will have been 16 years by Jan 2011), and that may show up once he gets to Topeka (a la Frank Murkowski, Dirk Kempthorne, etc.). Former Senators rarely make good Governors. Our last R Governor in TN was a 12-year Congressman, and he ended up a disaster.
Brownback is running for governor for one reason and one reason only, to run for president. What he does to Kansas in the interim and who he does it to doesn't matter so long as it futhers that goal.
Brownback won’t ever be President. I love these guys that go to the Senate that instantly think they’re all going to be the next President...
