Yes, I forgot about Ryan, he's solid. I was initially quite interested in McCotter, since he came across as a solid fiscal conservative of the Austrian stripe. BUT, he also voted (along with the rest of the Michigan delegation) for a lot of the TARP/bailout stuff.

Prior to his votes on the auto bailout, (which I understood, given his district) I had taken issue with his vote in favor of increasing the minimum wage.
I still like him very much. He's smart, articulate and feisty. The democrats have targeted his seat, but recent events may have made him a lot less vunerable. :)
