Is she a moderate posing as a conservative? Moderates are more dangerous than Liberals! At least I know where a liberal stands!
You always know where a Liberal stands and its always awful. So you at least have a chance with a moderate. So I don't accept your premise.
However I used to live in Texas. A conservative should be able to prevail there and we shouldn't have to settle for a RINO or moderate there. Texas is not Maine where RINOs are necessary evils because all the voters are liberals or RINOs. Texas must have drastically changed over the last 40 years since I left.
