The RNC actually has two chairs, one a female and the other a male. Technically speaking, Sarah Palin cannot be the RNC Chairman, but she can very well be the RNC Chairwoman.

Technically speaking, Sarah Palin cannot be the RNC Chairman, but she can very well be the RNC Chairwoman. Throughout history until recent times, the word man referred to both males and females.
Even in the Bible, it says God created man, male and female did he create them. IOW, it is completely proper for a woman to be referred to as a Chairman.
