Republicans are a lot more fun to argue with than Democrats. Democrats, when confronted with their hypocrisy, will call you a racist, sexist, bigot, etc. A Republican, when confronted with their hypocrisy, will attempt to construct some sort of logical framework for it. That is just fun to watch.

My mom used to do this all the time. She would tell them that when the Republican party started representing conservative family values she would begin contributing again.

I hear ya. This is what I sent back to McCain in May 2008 (obviously before Palin).

Unfortunately the person with whom you spoke was not the RNC nor the leaders of the GOP. He was an employee of a company that is hired to make fundraising calls.
He may or may not even be a Republican but certainly no one in leadership. Probably just a college kid trying to earn some bucks to continue his education (maybe even an Obama voter to boot!)

Today I got the RNC 2009 census survey. Oh please, yet another ploy to get money. I knew it would arrive, as I was warned by a Freeper vanity last week.
I have printed out a page of Monopoly money and at the bottom of the page wrote “Here’s the deal, you give me real conservative candidates to vote for, and then I’ll send you real money.”
Postage paid envelope provided by the RNC.

I wonder who they hire to do those calls. Someone that doesnt really care what you think and get paid by the call, I bet. No matter. If half their calls end in "F*ck you, I'm giving my money to Sarah", the message will be received loud and clear by those who need to know.

I suppose that is a needed thing. I was brought up to be conservative, vote conservative, put generally I was taught that 99% of all politicians are self serving SOB’s only out for themselves and being on a fixed income, I pretty much don’t give to any of them.

No, I was actually pleasantly surprised. he actually seemed to understans what I was saying, and , perhaps, why I was saying it.

Lets hope they have the smarts to tabulate responses like yours and use that in setting direction.
..and hopefully listen to all of us. if not, we will have to figure out a way to get ourselves back on a track consistent with the Constitution

They had better start listening or we are doomed to Obama and friends”

I totally agree and as a former RNC county officer, I gave the callers from the house and senate reelection fundraisers the same pitch, very politely, explaining that I knew that they were only doing the job the RNC paid them to do but to mark me down as “a Republican who’s not willing to give money to RINOs, nor did I appreciate Mel Martinez cozying up to Hispanics over the illegal aliens, while both Bush and McLame were in total agreement.”
