[... the worst of the financial meltdown all happened
on days correlated to U.S. activity in Israel...]

Wouldn’t it be interesting to research further effects
related to our treatment of Israel in history?

QUESTION???

Typically I structure my devotions by reading a Psalm,
a Proverb and three chapters from the Book I’m currently
reading. Today I happen to be reading Judges.

JUDGES 9:22-23
Now Abimelech ruled over Israel three years. Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Schechem; and the men of Schchem dealt treacherously with Abimelech.

Substituting Democrats for “men of Schechem” and Obama
for “Abimelech”, I wondered if I could pray that God would
do this work again, but thought better of it since there is quite
enough evil leadership in our country, thank you. So instead, I
prayed for God’s perfect will.

THEN... I turned to the Proverb for the day.

*
*
You are not going to believe this.
*
*
*
*
*
Are you sitting down?
*
*
*
*
*
This is a real doozie...
*
*
*
*
*
PROVERB 16:4: “God has made everything for His purpose, even the wicked for the evil day”!

THAT’s what I’m talkin’ about!

Well, there are two aspects to that — about what I was saying about being attacked and about certain conservatives/Republicans wanting God out of the Party.

One aspect is that the Republicans and conservatives are made up of different groups of conservatives. Some never have had anything to do with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But, over a period of time, they came to accept the Christians in the Party as part of that bigger party. And now, I see that this part of the party (who may have been there all along and working for the same things in the past) are now looking for something to help them win elections and in looking around at what they can do, they figure if Christians leave God out of the picture and don’t get so narrow-minded on what God says, then it can help bring in more “pagans” into the Republican Party, including homosexuals, doncha know...

And if “these Christians” keep on being narrow-minded (and listening to God, instead of the “Party”), then they need to be kicked out of the Party for the good of Republicans.

That’s one aspect of what I see going on. So, I can’t say that they’re not “legit members” — they’ve simply been “different members” working, in the past, for the same goals, and now they’re seeing those goals as possibly diverging from *their viewpoint* (which is a viewpoint that they’ve *always* had, but now they want to enforce that viewpoint on the other members of the Party).

And now..., here’s the “other aspect”, which is liable to *really get me in trouble* with a bunch of conservatives here..., but sorry about that... LOL...

For me, I’m not a conservative, first, and a Republican first, and then a Christian, but I’m a Christian first and then if the conservatives and Republicans go along with what I see from my Christian perspective, that’s fine. And if they don’t — they simply don’t get my vote (and most likely no one else does either).

Well, I’ve been told that’s a sure prescription for the failure of conservatives and Republicans. Well, I go further and say that it’s also going to apply in that I’m not about to vote for a *cult member* as President of the United States, because the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob calls Mormonism a definite *cult group* and there’s *no way* God is going to “bless” having a *cult member* as President of the United States.

That one always gets me called a bigot in short order...LOL...

Mormons are cult members — and if they want to go along with the “politics” of the conservatives, that’s fine with me. I don’t have any problems working on policies and laws and so forth, with anyone. BUT, I won’t vote for a *cult group member* in any election, anywhere, and at anytime.

Basically that means that Romney would have never gotten my vote in an election, if he had won the position to be on the ticket. And also, if he runs again in the future and gets that position, he’ll never ever get my vote. It will never happen in a million years, no matter if the coming Antichrist wins the election as the opposing candidate. LOL...

And Steele, basically came out and said that Romney shouldn’t run and was unelectable because of the intense opposition to him from Christian circles in the Republican Party. A lot of other “conservatives” basically saw that as bigoted and crazy, as we should all vote for whomever would carry “conservative values” and “win elections” and beat the opposition.

But, that’s where I’m not a Republican first, but a Christian first. And for me, I’ve got a “political test” for a candidate, which says that they have to be a Christian, first, and then a conservative second.

So, that’s where I’ll get hammered on these things. And I do recognize that many of those who are against “God” in the Republican Party don’t like the “aspect” of that, which “God brings along” with his followers. There are “conservatives” who don’t like God running the show here...

[and I’m talking about the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, of the Bible, and Jesus Christ of Christianity and not “God in general” and of the *cult groups*...]

You said — PROVERB 16:4: “God has made everything for His purpose, even the wicked for the evil day”!

That’s along the lines of thought that I’ve had that Obama *is* God’s judgment upon this nation, and “giving it over” to whatever it wants. Unfortunately we also happen to be “in this nation” too.

But, remember, Daniel was carried away to captivity, too, in his day. He never made it back to Israel again, and died in a foreign land. But, look at how important Daniel was in God’s plans...

They’re already talking about possibly running a non-Christian cult group member now (i.e., GOP “kingmaker”)...

All that will do is guarantee Obama a win in the next election.

The GOP better run someone better if they want to defeat Obama.

Here’s some comments on Palin on the thread having to do with the cult-member, Romney.

You can expect *hits* on Palin from the Romney camp, from now on. They are going to literally try to *assassinate* her politically and destroy her from ever trying to run for office.

That’s where the “hits” came from during the last election. The information was fed to the liberal press by the “Romney supporters” in the campaign. Having a cult-group member in our party, who thinks he can be President is like have poison laying around in the open for your kids to get a hold of.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2254280/posts?page=56#56

Palin energized an un-energized base and in the process alienated moderate women, the group you need to win elections.

Palin’s negatives were higher, (much higher) than Biden’s, where polling data indicated that only 13% of Americans didn’t think he was qualified to be VP. Compared to Palin where 60% of the country didn’t think she was qualified to be VP, let alone President. That should tell everyone something.

Unless she can turn around her negative poll numbers in 3.5 years (which would probably be unprecedented in modern-day politics), she has absolutely no chance of beating Obama, even under the best of conditions.

If she wants another shot at national office, she should look at Nixon’s (who lost in a squeaker in ‘60) political sabbatical from 1961 to 1967. He sat out ‘64 to gather himself for ‘68. Palin would be wise to emulate Nixon’s strategy.

Here’s what I said about what happened to a Mormon running as a Republican in Oklahoma, where they are super-conservative. When people realized that the Republican candidate was a Mormon, they went for the Democrat...

GOP kingmaker leans toward Mitt Romney
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2254280/posts?page=71#71

You said — I agree with you on what Steele was trying to say. He is right. I saw what happened in my State of Oklahoma when Istook, the Mormon, lost almost 2-1 (a few hundred votes shy of actual 2-1). I had people who voted reliably Republican that were going to vote for Istook until they discovered he was Mormon and no way to seal that deal. It is a fact of life. If Romney couldn’t beat McCain, he will never get the nomination.

And that’s something that a lot of GOP people just don’t get. What you said...

People will, at first, like the conservative values and they think they are going to vote for the guy — and then — they find out he’s a *Mormon* and that *kills the deal* right there on the spot.

And in Oklahoma, as the map shows — it *went Democrat* for the election. Just that *one thing*.... will do it.

Here is a map that dramatically illustrates that... LOL..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Oklahoma_2006_gubernatorial_election_map.svg

Now.., mind you, Oklahoma was a state in the United States that had the *highest percentage* of the vote, of any state, for the Republican ticket. In addition to that, every last single one of the counties in the state of Oklahoma and including the two major metropolitan areas — all — went for the Republican ticket. That’s every last single county.

NOW..., do you think that the GOP will “get the message* and not run a *cult group* member for President? I sure hope so...

And, I’m in Oklahoma now (actually back and forth between Texas and Oklahoma, but going to end up in Oklahoma...). I wasn’t there for that election, though.

I think Oklahoma is a whole lot more conservative than Texas, though. That’s very interesting, too, since people talk about how conservative Texas is...

Now, I’m mentioning the Mormon candidate (Romney) in connection with Palin, because *from the beginning* Mormon operatives saw it as their duty to *kill Palin politically* and they are still at it — for purposes of running Romney. These Mormon operatives were after Palin, even days after she became the Vice-Presidential candidate.

That’s what it’s going to be like for Palin from here on out — being attacked continually by Mormon operatives (of course, “behind the scenes” feeding information to liberals).

This is the *disaster* that happens, with Christian conservatives voting (and there are a whole lot of them in Oklahoma) — if the Republicans run a *cult group member*.

The following from another poster on another thread...

GOP kingmaker leans toward Mitt Romney
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2254280/posts?page=80#80

No Mormons running this time for Governor in OK.

When Romney was in OK to campaign at his ‘so-called’ Town Hall, to ask a question you had to be Mormon or a member of his OK Team. That was reported by an activist who went to his Town Hall to see where he stood on issues. After he was told he couldn’t ask a question, his email went all over the State saying you had to be Mormon or a member of the Romney team in OK.

No one I knew from the Baptist Community mentioned the fact Romeny was from liberal MA, it was all about him being Mormom just like they didn’t know Istook was Mormon when he ran for Congress. After the primary when it came out Istook was Mormon, word spread everywhere he was Mormon and someone dug up a legal filing that made Istook’s defense of the Mormon leaders look bad.

That general election in 2006 was doomed and it cost us statewide seats we held and one seat, Auditor, we would have won without Istook on the ballot. The 2006 election was disastrous statewide for Republicans in OK. We lost all but one seat and that was the incumbent Corporation Commission.

We had Republicans — JC Watts and State Rep Randy Terrell making robocalls for the DemocRAT candidates against two incumbent Republicans also in 2006.

Hope we never repeat that again. Having lived in Texas, I can say that this is a more conservative state, and we proved it even in heavily Dem counties that went against ZERO.

Really looking forward to 2010 and getting back some of the seats we lost especially Governor.

The GOP better “get the idea” or else...

I agree. Palin has a lot of work to do for sure - and she needs to get her little Trig old enough that he can have interviews and do some high 5s, totally upstaging everyone. In the meanwhile, listen to the kingmakers and the Media and then run the opposite direction. - they will pick out the worst person possible and sell him as “the only way to beat Obama.” There’s no one on the national scene who can beat Obama but Obama. Get the Congress back in 2010 and watch the fur fly!

So I’m thinkin’...

What if there was a “Politics Whisperer” like
Caesar the “Dog Whisperer”? When a liberal
misbehaves or offends the facts the “Politics
Whisperer” simply puts his hand in their face
and says, “SSSSSSST”! ... and the bad behavior
immediately stops.

If the liberal is particularly aggressive, the
pack leader, gives a firm yank on the leash to
“redirect his brain”.

For you and others who might like to know about Jim Robinson’s view of Romney..., basically “get rid of Romney” and also any of his supporters, too...

Unlike Romney’s “National Council for a New America,” Free Republic is a conservative site!

If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!

FR is not for everyone!

Tell anyone who supports Romney to take it up with Jim Robinson... LOL...

Or, they can form their own “WAnkers for Romney site”, as Jim says.
