The speculation that there is a rift forming between the high profile Governor from Alaska, Sarah Palin, and the rest of the GOP hierarchy can be upgraded to confirmed. You might say that this started as early as December when a few in the McCain campaign began spilling the beans on Palin. A lot of it was refuted as nothing more than the blame game and the antics from a few disapproving political insiders. She seemed more than able to overcome some minor league criticism considering what she endured while the campaign was in full stride. But, you have to wonder, have some of those criticisms spread to wider parts of the party? Stacy, at The Other McCain wonders out loud if the Governor has lost some control of her own affairs. But, I suspect, as well as Hot Air, there is indeed a rift more so than staff mixups and conflicting schedules due to her obligations in her state.

The only problem I see is that the MODERATES do NOT want the Conservative voices heard. Moderates want to get along and reach across the aisle...Conservatives want to educate and promote their beliefs...as the right policies for the Country.
PING for McCain.
Any one that thinks the GOP is our friend and is going to help preserve our liberty is on crack.
The GOP has been selling our liberty down the road and Newt is no different, he is pro global warming, no doubt becasue that’s where his money is now located.
It is now “We the People” vs the elected ruling class, aka tyrants.
You’re right.
You know, I made an April fools joke about registering Democrat. I’m beginning to wonder if we’d make more headway if we in fact did go Dem.
Stubborn RINO’s won’t get the message unless we completely abandon the GOP.
Thanks, but no thanks. He can't be trusted.
You're right. And since we have no leader i think what we should start with is going to the tea parties. Maybe from these some leadership will arise and some ideas will be formed.
As Newt gets older he is turning bitter. Some days back he feuded with Rush. I am sure he strongly dislikes Palin as well. It’s time for Newt to retire. He served his purpose when he was sane, but his time is gone.
Hoping they will ‘get the message’ is blowing in the wind, in my opinion. It depends on THEM putting together actions and consequences. Too subtle. Like staying home and not voting.
I am just loving it, the lower 48 all in a brou ha ha because they cannot get Sarah Palin to be their Joan of Arc.
Hey, I live here in the lower 48 and I love it, too...LOL.
