$104,655.60 Ad in The Washington Post--

Here is someone with the money to fund a rebuttal to what Howard Dean, Democratic National Committee Chairman, said that 'many Republicans have never done an honest day's work in their life'. The following full-page ad was placed in the Washington Post by a businessman named George J. Esseff, Sr. He paid $104,655.60 to run the ad and only did it because he is sick and tired of the way that 'the rich' are portrayed by liberals these days. It is a great read.

Figures that the WAPO would charge for something good like this, but print the uni-bombers manifest for free.

I never understood how the GOP is the “Party of the Rich.” Just about everyone I know who is richer than I am is a Democrat. Most of the rich Hollywood crowd and rich Wall Street crowd is Democrat. Most working class people I know are GOP.

The Democrats are the party of the blue-blood rich, and the urban unemployed cashing government handout checks.

As such, they share the common trait of never having worked for a living, and the belief that wealth is only shoved around unearned. (Also, the income tax can go as high as they can get it with no repercussions for either group...but it’s a great way to prevent unsophisticated types from moving up in life to levels of wealth they haven’t been invited to.)

The ones actually adding value to society (whether drop by drop as the working class, gallon by gallon as entrepreneurs and small business owners, or in torrents as industrialists) are the ones who understand growth. They, literally, MAKE money, and as such don’t support forcible income confiscation.
