Pardon? This excludes Obama and Biden...so who are we supposed to vote for if not McCain/Palin?
You forgot this: </sarc>
hilARious!
That was good. What’s funny is most of the people I work with would not realize it was satire. They’d think it was just a little too blunt, thass all.
-”ideologically intransigent” = you don’t embrace faggotry.
- “the staggeringly ignorant” = you are too stupid to understand such nuanced, advanced concepts such as the logic of granting overtly racist, nothing down, sub-prime loans to those with hideous credit ratings, who also are part of a subculture which disdains proper repayment of debt.
- “hideously unqualified” = you didn’t graduate from an Ivy League Law School and you haven’t received the approval of the inside-the-beltway and east coast LeftMedia, and political establishment.
This reminds me of that nonsense book “What’s the Matter With Kansas” which says that people in places like Kansas vote Republican out of ignorance, that they don’t realize their economic interests are best served by Democrats.
In addition to being condescending and patronizing, they miss an important factor with these types of statements. It’s actually possible that people might vote on issues aside from their own personal economic interests. It’s possible that people vote on issues and candidates based on what they think is best for the country, not on what’s best for them personally in their own wallet.
The author of the Kansas book belies his own simplistic prejudice, by implying that the determing factor of one’s votes must be economic issues, and nothing else. I wonder if he himself always votes that way. Probably not, because as a weathier person, Democrats plans to raise his taxes will go against his own economic interest.
This is fabulous and I am going to send it to everyone I know. Now I just have to figure out how to get it from your computer to their computer. Hope I can figure this out before the election. Dagny
I thought my degree in political science and a masters in aviation safety might disguise it, but she ( the author ) is right.
I can never compete and need special classes to earn living.
“All this stuff about how different Barack Obama is, theyre not just used to somebody really smart. Theyre just not used to somebody whos really well educated. They just dont know quite how to handle it. Cause if hes as smart as Barack is he must not be from my neighborhood.”
I’ve been on the internet all day and totally missed this tidbit from Biden. Wow. I hope McCain uses this in one of his ads.
John Galt says just paste a hyperlink to this thread in an email:

That's enough for anyone. This isn't even a contest! How could it be???
And of all the black holes to throw money down, the UN? Like the UN is capable of doing anything besides streamlining the sex-slave trade?
Darn it, they’re right! I do need to vote for someone smarter than me! Now, where do I find someone who tests in the top one percent? Because I got news, Joe “God Love Ya” Biden... it sure ain’t you....
Still not in my face enough.
I sincerely hope I have “a difference in brain power” from anybody stupid enough to support Obama/Biden.
