Presidential contender, and current front-runner, Senator John McCain addressed a crowd gathered in Shanksville, PA today to commemorate the 7th year anniversary of the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
The passengers of United 93 took fate into their hands on that fateful date and fought back against their aggressors, diverting the plane from reaching its destination of the United States Capitol.
John McCain spoke giving thanks to the fallen hero's: "It’s believed that the terrorists on United Flight 93 might have intended to crash the airplane into the United States Capitol..." "Hundreds if not thousands of people who worked in that building when that fateful moment occurred would have been destroyed along with a beautiful symbol of our freedom. They and very possibly I owe our lives...

Anyway, he is right.
Waiting for the media and his competition to scream that he is exploiting 911 - the day they try so hard to forget.
I felt very discouraged about America this morning as I walked around my neighborhood and saw not a single American flag on any house (except my own) and quite a few Obama lawn signs and bumper stickers.
Then I read what John McCain has said today. He’s a man we may not agree with on all points, but he’s a great American hero giving heartfelt tribute to real American heroes. HE’s smart and so is Sarah, and the put the USA FIRST! With him in the White House at least we have a chance of America surviving and not capitulating to the UN/EU/Muslim onslaught.
We must win this election. We must fight the war on terror until every dangerous enemy threatening our country is dead. God bless America.
That’s cool. John McCain doesn’t have so much ego he thinks he’s the Greatest Hero in the World.
I like a man who can be humble admit mistakes and thank those who truely deserve it. I’m liking McCain more and more showing class, character, and not taking himself too seriously.
If Obama had a war record I think not only would we here about it AD NASUEM but he would be made out to be A ONE MAN ARMY!! RAM”BAMA”BO.
I could see OBAMA wearing his MEDALS everywhere and showing off. To bad John Kerry threw his away his could have loaned BARRY some.
To me speaks Volums about McCain not bragging about his WAR record. He is one of many hero’s who don’t ask for praise or adulation when the return.

Some respect and to understand their love of this counrty is Gratitude.
Try and appretiate this country half as much as the Serviceman/woman.
Who is just an average guy/girl who accepts Service for the country and rises to espectations and does extroidenary things.
Ultra-Leftist don’t understand these people want to honor this country and love it so much they will die for it.
These people accept the sacrifices and are able to endure because of excellent training and their fellow soilders who they know are going thru the same things with them.
Love of country to a Leftist is not service to a great amazing wonderfull country. But something of a con “Stupid”
people or poor people get suckered into doing.
Because of lack fo education funds the liberal says they are forced into the Army to pay for College. FALSE.
True alot of people in the Military take advantage of the Money provided for College. However these young people are willing to do what alot of youth won’t.
Sacrifice for their country and because knowledge they are improving their lot in life. Unlike some kids who think going to College is a “Birthright” of some sort.
These military men/women earn the money for their tuition. This is a Major reason Military Recruiters should be allowed on school campuses.
TO explain to them life is tough you need to learn to depend on yourself and your determination. Don’t wait for someone to give you and Education...EARN IT/TAKE IT.
Once you know you earned your education NO ONE can take that away from you. Unlike things that are given.
NO one could better tell of how the military strting in Basic Training how disipline, determination, and not quiting will get you places.
They expect more from you than anyone else probably ever did. ALL OUT EFFORT! NO QUITTING! from you those that rise to the challenge find out they can do more than they ever thought.
A sharp contrast to the DNC the party who “owns” defeat and ready to turn tail and run at the first sign of trouble.
The men/woman will not quit until ordered to stand down. Their mission isn’t over until absolutely done. Barack Doesn’t understand what an 18 year old Private does : take pride in your work, and finish what you start!
For any of G. BUSHES faults at least he understands this principle I think.
For all the seocond guessing the LEFT had done over IRAQ the PRESIDENT made a tough unpopular choice. That the Dems wouldn’t have ever made.
They would still be at the UN asking for a resolution. So BUSH did lead right or wrong and did it well after 9/11. I doubt he sat and thought for one second “America got what it deserved”.
Obama for his so called Greatness is a whole lot of NOTHING. I think he would be scared to death and mishandle a international crisis.
His anwer would look like Somalia I fear make the US bleed enough on Public and they will lose their will.
Military goes in for a week or two then just offers aid. Meanwhile letting terrorists have a safe haven. Free to roam and butcher at will.
I don’t for one second think McCAIN would let these Monsters(Terrorists) off that easy.
He might not go to WAR until all other options are tried, but that would BE an option. Not just a show of force but proper Force to find and kill all the Terrorists we can find.
He will make rookie mistakes and I don’t want those to cost men/women their lives.
A recruit comes out briming with Pride and Confidence. Knowing they are the Best Soiliers in the World and can overcome any obstacle with DETERMINATION and their unit. END OF RANT
Wasn’t the Capitol building evacuated long before that flight crashed? The people in the plane fought back because they had heard about the other planes crashing into buildings.
