The Teneesee Center for Policy Research released information yesterday regarding Al Gore's not so eco friendly home.

Although Gore has written books, received awards, and been a part of movies touting the need for more energy efficient lifestyles, it appears that Gore is more of the "do as I say, not as I do" crowd.

TCPR's research indicates that Gore's home used "213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month" within the last year. Evidently Al Gore's home uses about 20xs the amount of energy it takes to power an average home.

Drew Johnson, President of TCPR states: “Gore is exploiting the public’s concern about the environment to line his pockets and enhance his profile"...

For Heaven’s sake, you ungracious poltroon! Don’t you know the Goracle has purchased carbon offsets for his lifestyle (from his own company, of course).

Gore's annual consumption should not be compared with the monthly consumption of average homes. This is the type of manipulation of statistics that propagandists, such as Gore himself, use on a regular basis. Why sink to their level?

That said -- Gore had it coming.

For clarity the organization isn’t comparing Gore’s annual usage to that of the average American home. They stated that the amt of energy he used can power multiple multple homes on a monthly basis and they mention his monhtly intake is more than the monthly intake of average homes...as is reflected in the actual article.

All that power is needed for Al's secret underground headquarters where he tracks the whereabouts of Manbearpig.

Everybody needs to know that this doesn’t matter, because Al Gore buys carbon credits. So even if he uses a huge amount of power, he’s offsetting it with carbon credits.
