Your post doesn’t meet the expectations your headline creates.
What does this mean?
You have to go to the blog to read the little article posted there.
Sort of a yawner...........
I don’t get it....
“A few months ago, nationally-syndicated talk show host Rush Limbaugh said that Jindal was the next Ronald Reagan.”
Is that right? Rush Limbaugh said that Bobby Jindal is the next Ronald Reagan? Let’s see if Rush’s archivists can bring that one up for a replay and as usual, I’ll be listening.
“You have to go to the blog to read the little article posted there.”
Oh. Still doesn’t make too much sense, lol.
I remember Rush speaking of Jindal, said he was a good Conservative, also mentioned another one. I don’t remember the “next Ronald Reagan” bit though.
I don’t remember Rush ever saying that.
I recollect him saying allot that there is no RR out there.
Apologize for *what*, Mr rvoitier? It doesn’t say...
Bobby Jindal is the closest thing to a genuine Reagan conservative that we currently have in the Republican party. In a very short period of time as governor in Louisiana, he has initiated and implemented more conservative policy than someone like John McCain has done in his decades of Senatorial sell-outs. Also, Jindal can actually talk, he can actually articulate his positions with clarity, unlike Bush, McCain, Bob Dole, and the other incredibly mediocre ‘leaders’ our side has run out there over the past decade-plus.
If Rush needs to apologize it should be for being too gentle on the Dimocrats.
Here it is....
“Bobby Jindal. I did an interview with Bobby Jindal. He is the next Ronald Reagan, if he doesn’t change. Bobby Jindal, the new governor of Louisiana is the next Ronald Reagan. He’s young. He was just sworn in for his first term. He’s the guy that beat the liberal Democrat machine throughout Louisiana. He did it on 100% conservatism. We interviewed him for The Limbaugh Letter about three issues ago. In fact, I am hereby ordering the editrix of The Limbaugh Letter, Diana Schneider to make — since it’s a past issue — the interview with Bobby Jindal in The Limbaugh Letter available at RushLimbaugh.com this afternoon. You can send it up to Koko as a PDF file or text or whatever you want. This guy could be the next Ronald Reagan. If McCain chose him, here’s a Southern state; this is Louisiana, but I think he may be too conservative for McCain. That depends on who they think McCain will need or want, but Jindal is very young, and he’s only in his first year as governor and doesn’t really have... He came from the House of Representatives. Also being talked about is Haley Barbour, the governor of Miss’ssippi, but it is said by those in touch with the conventional wisdom that Haley’s got too many lobbyist ties for McCain. These are some of the names. There are others that I can’t think of right off the top of my head, but they’re out there. But I don’t think it would be Newt.”

But I still don’t get the thread!
In response to a caller on Feb 8, 2006 discussing possible McCain VP picks, Rush did in fact say that Jindal was the next Ronald Reagan, “if he doesn’t change.”
I meant to write Feb 8, 2008.
Correct. But I still don’t get this posters thread. Says he’s been here since 97, figured he’d know how to post a thread by now, at least one that makes some sense!
NO apology needed by Rush.
I think with a bit more caffeine, some tongue-in-cheek can be detected here.
Welcome to the apology decade.
Now Rush is being asked to apologize for other people not making sense
