Too many probelms and No solutions from Noriega camp

In a sad attempt to get the party to rally behind Rick Noriega, the Texas Democratic Party made him the keynote speaker at their Convention this past week.

Noriega who is "challenging" incumbent John Cornyn in November put on his best "please elect me, sympathy tie" and went before the flock of Texas Demos to rally support. Noriega must appear so desperate because he currently is 10 points behind Senator Cornyn in the polls and significantly behind Cornyn in fundraising...I'd be sad too (mas triste). This is sad attempt on behalf of the Texas Democratic Party...couldn't they have picked someone who even remotely resembles a winner to give their main address? This just screams: "slim pickins"...

So in his speech he addresses the many wrongs facing Texas and the nation which are clearly Cornyn-Bush's' fault...(Noriega adopted the Obama camps "hyphenated" approach to tie Senator Cornyn to the Bush Administration as often as possible).

According to Noriega, gas prices have reached an all time high, since Cornyn's been in office...Who wants to be the pragmatist who let's Noriega in on the fact that Congress has been under Demo control since 2006 and gas prices have only gone up since they were elected...regardless of their endless campaign promises to end the war in Iraq and lower gas prices...

He blasts Cornyn for failing to vote for the Minimum Wage bill, which has recently put the country in the highest unemployment spike in the last 4 years...THANKS Dems!

He cited the number of drop out rates over the last 4 years, stating that half of the high schoolers who started school didn't graduate...Two words Noriega: SCHOOL CHOICE. He continues to whine about Republicans spending money for education on Gyms rather than teachers or new schools...

Cornyn is a lock and actually conservative in comparison to others.

This is an exerpt from John Cornyn's latest news-letter.

Even more baffling, as families in Texas and across the country are paying an extra $1,400 a year in gas prices, the majority party in Congress has proposed $6.7 trillion climate tax package that could actually raise gas prices by 147 percent. It defies logic that after blocking the American energy production and oil independence, Congress is now pursuing bigger government, more taxes, and higher energy costs with no guarantee of actually improving the climate.

I thought about forwarding it on to John McCain.
