but not to the degree that we pander to blacks as a community, Jews with regard to Israel or maybe some other groups.
this is an odd year.....liberal jews will have to think which motivates them more...fear of the Christian right which is low with Mccain or conserns of Israel which ought to be high with Obama
but isn't it sort of odd to have a bloc of American voters for whom we as a nation rightfully support their kinsmen in a sea of nutcases always preoccupied about a foreign nation of like identity folks and at the same time everyone including Jews eschew that very sort of identity chauvinism in others.
look at me as a White Southern Christian...I'm 50, for many years I've watched politics unfold and my government take sides contrary to folks I felt some racial or religious affinity and sympathy for:
Rhodesia
South Africa
East Timor
Kosovo
Bosnia
Even though I support Israel and my nation does as well and at a price that has far reaching consequences and most Jews frankly have no appreciation of that from a Christian Conservative and they would loathe my support of my racial or religious kinsmen yet it's not just accepted for them to do the same damned thing but rather celebrated and pandered to by the media and politicians.
And like I said....they(lib jews) don't appreciate it much, their loathing of Christian conservatism being what it is.
Jews should foremost think about what's good for America which rightfully is usually what's good for Israel but then why do so many liberal Jews want that yet wish to destroy what made America great because they fear that power when wielded?

Same question as to why many Jews knowing the dire consequences of the Nazi's continued to aid and abet those who would eventually destroy them?
Not in others. Just in white people. It's because nonwhites/nonChristians know that they are not included in this white Christian identity & they fear they will be marginalized at best & killed at worst in such a society. Like they were before. So everyone works to suppress it, while at the same time doing what comes natural: supporting their own people. I'm not American or white or Christian but this is what I think is going on.
We are dealing with liberal Jews and asking them to make an unprincipled exception to liberalism on an ethnic/religious basis. They want to change America, just slower than the left. Asking them to care about America is a waste of time.
