An Open Letter to Rep. Ron Paul (by Michael Medved, pro-Rudy shill)
TOWNHALL.COM ^ | 26 OCTOBER 2007 | MICHAEL MEDVED

Posted on 10/26/2007 6:34:06 PM PDT by Extremely Extreme Extremist

Dear Congressman Paul:

Your Presidential campaign has drawn the enthusiastic support of an imposing collection of Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, Holocaust Deniers, 9/11 “Truthers” and other paranoid and discredited conspiracists.

Do you welcome- or repudiate – the support of such factions?

More specifically, your columns have been featured for several years in the American Free Press –a publication of the nation’s leading Holocaust Denier and anti-Semitic agitator, Willis Carto. His book club even recommends works that glorify the Nazi SS, and glowingly describe the “comforts and amenities” provided for inmates of Auschwitz.

Have your columns appeared in the American Free Press with your knowledge and approval?

"What ever validates your lonely little mind my tough typer. I always want to make you feel like a man so I will always give you the last word. Translation: because you are lonely and have nothing in your life but FR, having the last word hopefully makes you feel good about yourself."

Spoken like a true Surrender Monkey supporter.

Of course Michael Medved is Jewish. It stands to reason that he would challenge antisemitism.

He is and it does, just as it stands to reason that most Christians challenge antisemitism and racism.

An update for a few of you, didn't seem worth it's own thread.

National Review notices Paul’s Nazi supporter

by David Benzion | 10/29/2007 1:58 pm | Alert moderator

Posted earlier today; sadly lacking a hyperlink to the original LST exclusive (we’ll forgive):

Paul is famously non-image-conscious. This is in some ways admirable, but it could prove harmful if he doesn’t do something about neo-Nazi leader Don Black’s $500 contribution (a spokesman said that was just noticed on Saturday — to their credit, because of the bloggers). No one thinks Ron Paul is a Nazi, but any association there is the most toxic kind of association possible.

In addition to our multiple phone calls last week, we’ve got a direct email in to Paul’s press shop this morning seeking comment, as well as pursuing a couple of back-channels.

To quote a brief excerpt from our email:

Fwiw, it is my genuine hope that the campaign chooses to take the high road, reject this contribution and take reasonable steps to ensure that additional contributions from neo-Nazis are not accepted.

Blocking Stormfront’s IP address from being a referral page to your site and issuing an unambiguous statement that neo-Nazis and white-supremacist support is unwelcome by the Paul campaign strike me as perfectly reasonable (and politically prudent).

We’ll be happy to highlight and champion any moves along these lines the campaign wishes to take.

We mean it.

And for what it is worth, taking these steps now will make it easier in the future for the Paul campaign to avoid getting unfairly saddled with racist baggage, like the fact that a bigot named Will Williams is trying to recruit young people to his white supremacist cause under the guise of organizing on behalf of Ron Paul. [h/t: Adam Holland]

In response to LST’s post, poor Mr. Williams is whining…

Must Dr. Paul capitulate to our Jewish masters’ demands?

We prefer to phrase the question as “Must Dr. Paul be asked to hold himself accountable to public opinion and take a stand regarding who he knowingly allows to formally associate with his campaign,” but since Mr. Williams insists on framing the issue differently, we’ll answer in a vernacular he understands–

Isn't it telling that such perfect, crystalline examples of naked Paulestinian antisemitism aren't more difficult to find, littered all over the 'net...?

That's who they hang with.

Here's another meetup leader who proudly identifies himself as a writer for Barnes Review (another Willis Carto publication, Holocaust denial) and a 911 truther researcher.

What’s missing is the condemnation.

What's "missing" is:

a.) baseline sanity; AND --

b.) an aggregate IQ equal to or greater than ambient room temperature. ;)
