"I would love to give them some of our tech and help them build a fleet. If you ask me it is tactically sound."

Firstly, how would helping the Chi-Coms build a fleet of warships affect our relationship with the RNC? Don't you think such beligerency would have a detrimental effect on diplomatic relations with our friends?

Secondly, how is giving our sworn enemy (PRC) the ability to kill Americans be considered anything at all like a "tactically sound" move?

But don't worry yourself any; the current administration (Republican), and the next administration (democrat), will continue to follow through in upgrading the Chinese navy at our expense.

P.S. Got any children in the U.S. Navy?

I am personally for the nuclearization of the whole damn area. Give S. Korea and Japan nukes. Let Japan re-arm, drop the Missouri Treaty and let them build up their military and when they are ready shift defense of South East Asia over to them and South Korea. We need to get the hell out of that region anyways. They have profits to protect and they arent going to want to lose that. Secondly, you are myopic if you dont think they already have the capability to kill Americans. My point was that if we give them antiquated technology that we developed we will keep them behind us and we already know the ins and outs of that tech so it is easy to defend against. Thirdly, no I dont have any children in the Navy, I am active duty U.S. Navy. Look up “Seabee” on the net.

P.S. You need to address the whole post not just parts of the excerpts you choose. That is a very liberal tactic. Have you gone to the New York Times school on editorial interpretation?
