My disagreement with giving them our tech, even older tech is that they aren’t a stupid breed of people. They do have the capabilities to determine logical upgrades, one step at a time, just as we did.

That’s letting someone into the kitchen who I don’t want near my foodstuffs.

I think you are confused as to what you read or you are just trying to pull a truly liberal move by only taking excerpts as to what I said and trying to twist it to fit your agenda. At which point in my statement did you ever get the idea that I support NAFTA, GATT, WTO, etc. By stating, “They need to go the way of the dinosaurs” means that those economic programs need to be made extinct. I fail to understand how that shows I am confused or am a Republican. I think you need to clarify your position and go back re-read my original post.
Secondly you weakly assume that I support the Republican party or elude that they are the only conservative party. Again you need to re-read my original post perhaps maybe a few times. The only thing I mentioned about the Republican party was that I wasnt one. The statement we need a Burkian conservative is pretty indicative that I dont feel that the Repubs are fitting that bill.

So which is it for you “assumption” or “fact.” Cause right now you are going with assumption and I do not need to tell you what that really means.

I am personally for the nuclearization of the whole damn area. Give S. Korea and Japan nukes. Let Japan re-arm, drop the Missouri Treaty and let them build up their military and when they are ready shift defense of South East Asia over to them and South Korea. We need to get the hell out of that region anyways. They have profits to protect and they arent going to want to lose that. Secondly, you are myopic if you dont think they already have the capability to kill Americans. My point was that if we give them antiquated technology that we developed we will keep them behind us and we already know the ins and outs of that tech so it is easy to defend against. Thirdly, no I dont have any children in the Navy, I am active duty U.S. Navy. Look up “Seabee” on the net.

P.S. You need to address the whole post not just parts of the excerpts you choose. That is a very liberal tactic. Have you gone to the New York Times school on editorial interpretation?

I understand your skepticism on the subject. But I think it is fairly sound. You can control their military technological gains if you do it smartly. Finally, they are very intelligent and crafty and deserve to be watched, but remember, “Keep your friends closer and your enemies even closer.”

Greetings, Seabee;

No need to respond as a leftist would, sir. I have quoted part of your post and have asked a question.

You seem to not realize that your post indicated you are exhibiting conflicting viewpoints. I am simply trying to engage your thought process, so we can converse in a civilized manner.

Again, your post:

"I fail to understand how that shows I am confused or am a Republican."

Sorry if you do not understand.

"You need to address the whole post not just parts of the excerpts you choose."

Which whole area?

Yes, I realize the enemy can kill Americans without our help, but I do not see any p;oint in helping them improve their military with our own resources in order that they might be able to kill even more Americans.

You are displaying your own ignorance of the way our country has already helped the Chinese gain mightily in the area of space-based military capability.

The reason I asked about any children, is because I am attempting to help you understand the consequences of building a navy for our enemy. So why not think about your own chances for survival if the Chinese start shelling your ship? I will stop pestering you with logic if you still don't get it.

Furthermore, you do not gain credibility by condecending remarks you made such as "Look up “Seabee” on the net".

FYI: I did not recently fall off the turnip truck, and I already know what the "SeaBees" do.

Lol, I hardly think you were trying to show me anything. I think you were trying to pick certain parts of my post and didn't have the diligence to review the whole context. There is nothing in there indicating a conflicting point of view. I approached that in my last post and if it lost on you then so be it.

I think the only thing lost on you is common sense. As I asked you before are you that myopic that by controlling the Chinese capabilities militarily we are killing Americans? Wow!! I am so glad the world is in a nice little box for you. God forbid we think outside of that little box eh?? Lol and as far as the space program is concerned, I would be more worried about the Russo-China intergovernmental cooperation concerning space flight. Oh and let’s not forget about the EU. Cause last time I checked our government was tying NASA’s hands about cooperating with China. Now if you are getting con-foozed onthe nuclear tech, well they stole that and good ole Billy Bob Clinton let’em. As far as your use of logic, I see your expectations on the subject are very low. So I would simply ask you to just quit pestering me. Cause anything I have to say is a little to abstract for your little box of a world and I hardly think it is worth my time.

P.S. if you know what Seabees do then why did you ask me if I was concerned about someone shelling my ship,Seabees don’t go on ships. So I suggest you get back on the turnip truck and try again.

Post #10 is yet another bill filed by paleoPaulie posing for holy pictures without a snowball's chance in hell pf passage. Just another proposal to buttsmooch Congress to pose as trying top do basic business without doing anything.

Since paleoPaulie is soooooo in love with making the US a pitiful, helpless giant tied up in endless red tape and not able to kick enemy patoot at will, he is hardly likely to actually attempt to free the US from the UN any more than he is looking for a modern Blackbeard to whom to issue "letters of marque and reprisal" to fight modern nations with nothing more modern than blunderbusses and sailing ships of the firepower of Old Ironsides.

PaleoPaulie SAYS he is pro-life while filing bills and simultaneously denying that the fedgov has any jurisdiction over the slaughter of the innocents.

PaleoPaulie SAYS he is a fiscal conservative while cramming the Appropriations bills with useless earmarks and then votes against the bill, safe in the hypocritcal assumption that the pork will flow to Galveston without his personal vote.

Dr. Demento is a phony and a fraud as well as a proponent of a foreign and military policy eagerly desired by his Al Qaeda buddies, a policy of cowardice, irresponsibility and institutionalized weakness.
