Even if Shaffer runs, he's a class act and would never resort to the dirty tricks Holtzman pulled on Beauprez.

Even though both were Congressmen, McInnis is much better known and my guess is would beat Shaffer handily.

It still ticks me off, though, that McInnis refused to run when he could have held Campbell's Senate seat for us.

I agree. Your statement is a clue into McInnis' mind set. He's in the game for McInnis.

Sorry to butt in but I agree with you. The sad aspect of all this is McInnis screwed the pooch when he screwed party activists. The question is whether or not he can overcome that. To be honest, I would like a better candidate, but this is not the time to choose sides.
