Hey Spiff, is the abortion issue important to you? Is it important enough that you would not consider voting for Rudy? How do you feel you are doing so far in preventing abortion nation-wide?

I'll tell you what. Since I doubt your sincerity, primarily because anyone over the age of 15 after 9/11 remembers reading about what Rudy did, why don't you go to the search engine on FR and just type in Giuliani and you can read about what his record is all about.

Nope. Just that a political award isn't of moment. What POSITION does Rudy hold unique among the GOP that makes it worth overlooking his baby-killing, gun-grabbing liberalisms?

You mean the same kind of chutzpah it took for Reagan to leave his wife (after having an affair, as I recall) and marry a pregnant Nancy?

I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. Source: CNN.com, “Inside Politics” Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htm

ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)

RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.

KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.

KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.

JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.

KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.

GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.

Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY

Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

Hey Narses, how is your hate campaign aginst Rudy going? How about your hate campaign against pro-aborts? Is hatred working for you yet? Do you find calling people baby-killers to be effective in winning hearts and minds?

I know he performed well as the mayor, and I know he attended funerals for NYPD and NYFD heroes. But what did Rudy actually do himself? Do we really need to call him a hero for doing his job as a mayor? The other answer I got here was that he "was no Ray Nagin". Oooohhh. That really makes the guy a hero, doesn't it?

Yes, I see it. Zealots busy trashing GOP candidates

Zealots. HAAATERS.

You've got all the Clintonista buzzwords down pat. You know, the ones that some absolve addressing the issues raised.

That's not how it works around here and you know it. Freepers are expected to give links when they post stuff like that and Spiff hasn't done so.

Just like the links you posted in THIS POST. Is that how that works?

And, you now what? How Free Republic works is that FReepers are expected to fight liberals and liberalism and to support conservatives and conservatism. You seem to have forgotten that as you get on here to support the MOST LIBERAL MAJOR REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE EVER who is a pro-abortion, anti-2nd amendment, pro-gay marriage, pro-amnesty, big government, serial adulterer, liberal lawyer just like Bill Clinton. That's NOT how Free Republic works.

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. - Jim Robinson

This has become a continuation of the other thread. The same folks have picked up their canned spam posts and brought them over here.

The same arguments are continuing, none of which have anything to do with this thread.

I sincerely hope this won't continue for the next 21 months. It's not looking good at the moment.
