This is what I hope happens, and it could:

Harris wins the primary very narrowly, and George W. Bush calls her up and (as nicely as possible) asks her to drop out of the race. Then the GOP recruits either Jeb Bush or a mega-wealthy conservative candidate who self-finances himself (or herself) to victory over Nelson, who really isn't all that popular.

Isn't it amazing that the only Republican Senate candidate in the United States polling lower than KH is Alan Schlesinger in CT ? Even to the diehards, the writing on the wall couldn't be more subtle than a nuclear bomb drop.

Haha, I'd like to see that happen too. But I still believe she actually thinks she can win. Even Despite these embarrassing polls, she is too stubborn to believe them.

This should have been Jeb's race. He would have won hands down, especially after the whole Hurricane mess (which he handled perfectly). But I think his wife has no interest in going to Washington. Thats also why he will never run for President.

But if W. wants Harris out, he could always easily ask a favor of his brother :)
