Wait just a minute!
There's a photo of her on a horse?
Mein Gott! She IS qualified. They should publicize that photo more, she'd turn this thing right around.

That's what I think, too. I did hear, though, that those boobies are artificially enhanced. That might cause problems with some voters.

FR's loyal Harris supporters think they'll be able to push her over the top, even when just a few bother to turn out for her rallies and the like. An excellent point.
If she's so popular, if she's such a great candidiate, why did her campaign have to lie to excuse lousy turnout at a rally?

Oh, well that's easy to answer: When Harris was trailing Nelson 48% to 36 Jeb Bush was beating Nelson 50% to 38%
in the same poll. For that matter, Tommy Franks and Bill Nelson were tied at 45%. It's a Katherine Harris thingie..

Good Gawd. At 20% she is down close to the "Probability of some error" numbers. Election experts will tell you that you can make up a fictional name like Susan White and that fictional candidate will get 20%.

Wow. She was on Medved show yesterday and Medved was uncharacteristically hostile to her.
She made a statement about voting for only Christian candidates to an evangelical group. Medved wouldn't accept her explanation she was trying to dispel the idea of separation of church and state and campaigns and the criticism was a result of being taken out of context.
Consequentially, she was very defensive and couldn't articulate her message effectively. It wasn't very good radio.

I mean, once you see Harris on a horse, how could you vote for anyone else? Well, you might vote for the horse.

21. If the election for the Republican nomination for United States Senator in 2006
were held today, whom would you support? (Republicans only)
Katherine Harris 38%
William McBride 21%
Leroy Collins, Jr. 19%
Peter Monroe 5%
Undecided 17%
They might split the sane vote.

I think you are correct, but I wonder if Katherine's campaign has damaged GOP support in Florida. If you polled Jeb vs Nelson right now what do you think the results would be? I would wager that Harris has damaged the party in Florida.

Finally! Sheesh. What an "all talk, no action" crowd we have here today!
To: MindBender26
Even more damning for Harris is this - all the other vulnerable GOP senators and GOP Senate candidates in blue states (i.e. Santorum, DeWine, Burns, Talent, Steele, Kean, etc.) have been closing the gaps in their polls with their Dim opponents. Harris, OTOH, keeps slipping further and further back against Nelson with each new poll.

That is so true. There is no way Harris is going to win against Nelson. Unfortunately her hardcore supporters just can not face reality and wakeup
