Florida GOP Chairman Carole Jean Jordan informed Congresswoman Katherine Harris this afternoon that a previous letter unethically leaked in today’s news is not applicable to current party beliefs. Further, Jordan stated that the Florida Republican Party does not officially endorse or take positions in a primary.

It's sad, really sad to see the type of backalley dirty politics the democrats are famous for manifest themselves against a woman whose only real crime was that she did what the law called for during the 2000 election.

Yea its really a shame that she or any of her hardcore supporters fail to see the facts and the truth that she is running a horrible campaign. Maybe she wouldn't be having some of these troubles if she was running a better campaign.

Representative Harris commented “this confidential letter was old news and Chairman Carole Jean Jordan has stated repeatedly this letter is not applicable today; further, Chairman Jordan said that she never expressed concerns about my campaign but rather the race overall against the incumbent. With a primary in process, the state chairman, the state committeeman and state committeewoman cannot endorse a candidate but all have stated their personal support for me.”

I'd say her campaign staff is either incompetent or out to lose badly.

That those that have left already appear in her opponents camp shortly after quitting leaves little to ponder.

Really you think as many people as she has gone through are all incompetent. It's not like only a couple people have left.

She is on her 4th campaign manager and basically her 3rd campaign team in the past six months. that is way to many people to be calling them all incompetent. Just face the facts Harris is doing a horrible job running her campaign.

It doesn't matter either way . The party on the national level won't support a candidate that is polling so poorly . They will offer vocal support, but nothing in the way of money and resources unless her poll numbers turn competitive .

I stand by my belief that Libby the Liberal Dole and the NRSC are responsible for damaging Harris from the start .

Now it's all on Harris, as the NRSC can't micro-manage her campaign even if they wanted to .

I am just here to state the facts and be balanced. You all can not admit that Harris has caused some of the issues she is facing in this campaign.

I have no problem admitting that the State and National party have done Harris wrong but they do not deserve all the blame and that is where you all are putting it.

Personally I like Harris and would love to see her win the Senate race and rub it in the faces of all the democrats, but and rational person can see that is not going to happen and if there is any chance at all of savaging this election it is to turn to McBride who polls as well Harris does against Nelson.

I have NEVER trashed 'the GOP in general' and I ask you to retract that post. I value my reputation as a long time poster on FR and those who know me know your statement is a LIE.

You were the second post here and I didn't PING you to this thread......you pounce on any Harris thread I post and begin to ATTACK and attempt to HIJACK the thread ASAP.
