It's really annoying, I ordered Time thinking I'd get a fairly moderate magazine, all I've seen is a less shameful Newsweek...
Read Time magazine? Why? We already get that viewpoint everywhere for free.

Freerepublic.com is my source of news.
Check their websites first, and cancel 'Time' if you aren't happy with it.
I got tired of reading the same crap in Newsweek and thought Time would be a bit more moderate, turns out I was wrong.
I'm pretty new to FreeRepublic, I joined because I heard you guys helped bring down the whole Memogate CBS thing during the Bush election. :)
That's pretty good advice, my conservative neighbor (retired from military), gives me the National Review which is pretty conservative, but I want to get a moderate magazine, does the BBC have one?

lol true, but some senators were great. Newt Gingrich and Ted Stevens being good examples. I don't know why that nutjob Kennedy is still around, calling Iraq "Bush's Vietnam", it's pretty dumb when one compares the two wars to see that they are almost nothing alike. Defeatists would like people to believe it though which if anything is going to lose us this war and any trust Middle Easterners have left in us.
U.S. News and World Report used to be fairly moderate, but I haven't picked up an issue in years and do not know if they are even still in publication.
The Washington Times newspaper (NOT the Post, which is a rabidly liberal rag) hits close to the 'moderate' mark most days, and may have a weekly edition which might be affordable.
Time Magazine had journalists embedded with the insurgents (and were when news of Saddam's capture broke).
As terrorists flooded into the country (after the media outrage over Abu Ghraib, which was already being prosecuted) the journalist(s) remained with the enemy (and even risked death when they went into an AQ held town.
Then again, Time-Life-Warner-Turner is part of the CNN media empire. CNN kept silent over abuses they knew under Saddam so that they could keep their Baghdad bureau.
They are DECIDEDLY anti-American in their news coverage.
The left has been saying that EVERY war since Vietnam was going to be "another Vietnam" and they say things like "just wait until the bodybags start coming home".
Their pre-war estimates were 50,000 dead US soldiers and 100,000-1,000,000 dead Iraqi civillians.
I'd have to agree with Mark "Run and Hide" Dayton.
Newt has never been elected to the senate.
Time has been a major mouthpiece of the Communist, globalist, tyrannical, power-mongering puppet masters for at least 45 years.
Good advice also, I never minded the times it's a pretty good paper but I'll try some other magazines because Time is just a waste of money at this point.
