Right. I remember Jimmy Carter wanting to be "Jimmy Carter" on the ballot, but I can't remember how it turned out. Or if it turned out the same way everywhere.

Exactly. He shouldn't get any special privilege. I'm sure Bill Frist would have loved to put down "Deworms African Orphans in his spare time" on his ballot, but he didn't get to. That's what campaigning is for.
