Sir - I direct you to the following quote from the Richmond Times Dispatch today. I don't think it could be any clearer Mr. Kilgore's position. Thanks for your email.
RTD:
Asked if Kilgore supports overturning the 1973 Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion, Martin replied that his candidate is "pro-life" and would allow abortion in cases of rape or incest or to protect the life of a woman.
"I would say that Jerry is for a culture of life," Martin said. "He has always been and always will be."

Subject: Kilgore/abortion
Sirs,
At the recent debate Mr. Kilgore had with Kaine it is being reported that the former shied away from answering a question on abortion.
That being, if there were a future SCOTUS ruling making it possible for states to enact more encompassing pro-life laws would Jerry Kilgore pursue this if he was our Governor?
I don't see what would be so difficult about giving a 'yes' or 'no' reply to this, do you?
Thank you,

My guess is that will be the answer, period.
I can see their strategery. Kaine wants to trap him into saying something they can label as radical or "dangerous."
Jerry isn't taking the bait.
