Fmr. Lt. Gov. Bill Scranton, III could get out of the Governor's race and jump into this contest and win easily. His dad held this seat back in '61-'63 before winning the Governorship (and dad is still alive and could run for the seat in a pinch if needed).

President Bush got 60% in the district in 2004. I think we could get just about any other Republican to run and he or she would hold the seat.
Besides, Scranton was taken out of the district in 2002 and added to Kanjorski's district. : )
