With all due respect Sam, what the heck are you doing proposing a tax INCREASE???
With the budget surplus, you guys ought to be fighting to the death to give us our money back that Warner and Chichester took fraudulently.
But now I see you co-sponsoring an increase with one of last year's 17 traitors. [Preston Bryant]
I don't care what the reasoning is. The state has too much of the people's money.
And I'm very disappointed that you want to take even more. I won't forget it.
Just sent to Delegates Nixon and Bryant:
Delegates Nixon and Bryant,
I was disappointed to find that you were the sponsors of HB 2880, which imposes a tax on a variety of telecommunications. With the Commonwealth currently running a 1.2 billion dollar budget surplus, it is time for our elected officials to think about giving back to the citizens of Virginia rather than think of new and more creative ways of extracting revenue. It is our money, after all.
Very Respectfully,
Doohickey
Glen Allen, VA
I hope he responds to you.
I can't believe ANYONE is proposing increased taxes on anything in Virginia this year..except of course tobacco, but that is a foregone conclusion that anything Philip Morris wants, Philip Morris will get. Even if it means closing down another Virginia company.
Isn't it interesting that Warner can see the surplus this year, at this time, when last year at this time he couldn't see the 300M coming.
