To second JZ's comments, I also wish you good luck in ridding yourselves of Ray LaThug. I hope Mr. Wright will bring honesty and integrity back to the 18th district.
Keep up the good work, BillyBoy. Jonathan Wright sounds good.
Thanks for all your comments and support.
I now have the petition page up on my NoLaHood.com site so those who feel likewise about needing a fresh face for the 18th district (and that would be about 80% of conservatives I've talked to online), would at least sign the petition I created "drafting" Jonathan Wright to run for Congress. He'd be a GREAT voice for us in Washington and LaHood is too busy harboring delusions of being elected Governor to notice.

Again, it's a rock solid GOP district so the power of incumbency is irrevelvant to winning that seat in the fall. Removing LaHood is a win-win scenario for conservatives.
One thing's for certain, LaLynchMob just couldn't stop yapping about how we could "do better" without Peter Fitzgerald in the U.S. Senate and now he will discover we can "do better" than HIM in Congress!
Only a toady like LaHood would think he could be elected governor of Illinois. He isn't even of the caliber of Bob Michael who was the poorest excuse for a Republican ever elected in Illinois.
Dennis Hastert seems to be a supporter of LaHood but that may be a ploy to get him out of the House of Representatives. If it isn't a ploy then Hastert joins Michael as a weak sister who should be given a one way ticket back to Illinois the next time he is up for re-election.
Maybe instead of a "No LaHood" petition, you should circulate a "LaHood for Governor" petition along with a "Wright for Congress" petition. We need to convince LaHood that he could actually win the GOP gubernatorial nomination so that he will vacate his House seat.
Good riddance to this cheap hack, who, needless to say, won't be elected governor of Illinois.
Is this supposed to be productive? If you hate him so much get there and hand out flyers and work. Putting up a web site doesn't change peoples minds.
