What "gain" does Tancredo get? He's been out-casted by the party. Things like Rove disinviting him to White House Christmas parties.

Take a gander. He is going to end up on the same path Buchanan did. I will say this, he has quite a talent for getting people's attention. But it he wasn't a one hit wonder, he might get somewhere. Unfortunately for the Tancredo fans out there, he is shoehorned into the illegal immigration subject.

There really is not one singular subject that will determine the next Presidential election. Really what determined the last one was security and the WOT and doubts that Kerry would be able to execute it as Bush has.

I think that he is similar to Hillary. He is very polarizing. As Hillary may find out, you won't win with 35%....

I've never heard of a Tancredo/Buchanan connection before. IMO, Tancredo is a brave man trying to save the country he cares about. He's got more stones then Bush on domestic issues.

This is where I disagree with you. Immigration is not a "one hit wonder" issue. The country is incensed on this. Rush finally had to mention that the Republicans are gonna face a backlash if they don't get in speed with the people.

Really? Interesting. I have heard that he often went nuts about things in Arizona or wherever he is from, but I don't know a lot about him.
