You only seem to quote the Andy Martin article. As I said, I disregarded that one based on your comment that he wasn't reputable. However, I sent you a link to an article by a pro-Obama supporter who even questions Obama's own bio.
When you have your own pro-Obama guy questioning his bio, it would make MOST people stop and question.
But I guess not you.
He professes to be a Christian, and I have no reason to doubt him. When he moved to Chicago, he attended a number of Protestant churches, primarily Baptist and Pentacostal, before joining Trinity United Church of Christ.
but he is certainly a liberal extremist
I agree 100%
Obama's positions on abortion and homosexual rights would be anathema to Islam as well.
He admitted to using marijuana and trying cocaine in his late teens. Like President Bush's issues with alcohol, I don't hold against him today what he did two decades ago. If there were evidence of ongoing drug use by Obama, that would certainly be an issue. But no one is alleging that.
The article you linked was by a different author, but he cited Andy Martin as his source.
I'm out for the weekend. I will answer any further replies to me Sunday night.
Correction: He provided Andy Martin's comments and debunked them but he then added his own questions as to why Obama was padding his resume.
You didn't read too closely obviously.
LOL. You bought that? It is Arabic for ""blessed"
I looked for blessed in Swahili
I just received a flyer in the mail from the Illinois GOP with applications for absentee ballots. Very nice glossy flyer that listed Bush-Cheney, Judy Biggert (Rep-13), and Sandra Pihos (Illinois House). There was NO MENTION OF KEYES on any part of the flyer.
A message from Jim Edgar mentioned "We need to support our GOP Team from the Courthouse to the White House"....except in the Senate, I assume.
There is a strong sense that the Illinois GOP has already cut deals with Barak Obama to take care of Illinois WHEN he gets elected. This is shameful all the way around!
Very disgusted in DuPage County
Sad... :-(
EV, unspun, any thoughts? You never cease to be an encouragement. :-)
The state chair is a disgrace. She and all those like her have no business being in leadership in the GOP. They would be a much better fit in the leadership of the other party.
And I could care less about the claims that will come forward saying this could somehow harm our party.
These people do more harm than is imaginable. Their loss would be nothing but a positive advance for the party they've driven into the ground through their corruption.
I suggest calling the DuPage GOP office, asking for either Kirk Dillard or the two feminists that really run the show and asking them some pointed questions.
Would it be fair to say Republicans will never get anywhere in Illinois until that state's GOP is cleaned out?
If so, whose responsibility is that?
As always, the responsibility always ultimately comes back to the people themselves.
There is a real effort underway to effect the needed changes. It won't all happen overnight, but there is a new generation of leadership arising, and they have the principled commitment to make it happen no matter how long it takes.
Have you listened to, or seen, the debate of last Tuesday night?
Keyes royally kicked Obama's tail.
I know the audio and the written transcript at least are available at either:
http://www.keyes2004.com
or
http://www.renewamerica.us
The next debate is this coming Thursday evening...
Thanks for that.
I've just seen the latest figures from Illinois on the Senate race. Oh dear.
Alan Keyes is more accurately a myth, rather than a legend.
