The Keating five were involved in a bank scandal in the 80's, which was being investigated by the Federal Home Loan Bank Board. Hmmmm. That's interesting. I've always thought of John McCain, as kinda enigmatic, hard to put a finger on. At times he'd remind me of Howard Dean, all fired up and "gung-ho" about something. Other times, he seemed as though he were afraid he shouldn't be saying whatever it was he was talking about. Oh well. So long as he helps President Bush, that's all that matters right now.
