This article was written by a gay liberal, but even he expects conservative Kris Kobach to defeat RINOish 2002 loser Adam Taff in the GOP primary to take on Congressman Dennis Moore. Moore sits in a Kansas district that Bush carried with 53% in 2000 and has barely won in each of his 3 elections, mostly because conservatives and RINOs beat up on each other in the primary and then the losing side sits on its hands in the general. But a Kobach victory in the primary will guarantee that Moore is defeated once and for all, since he is a true conservative (pro-life, pro-gun, pro-tax cuts, pro-marriage) who will mobilize the GOP base and since he has a dream résumé and more charisma than John Edwards and Harold Ford, Jr. put together.

BTW, the article made reference to Kobach lambasting Taff in a straw poll in the district; here is the press release on the vote: http://www.kobachforcongress.com/News/062804.htm

Taff had his chance. Time for Kobach to finish the job.
