Oklahoma is a heavily Baptist state, and they tend to vote for other Baptists. While the voters were willing to support the Roman Catholic Don Nickles, there were doubts as to whether they would support a Mormon (which Ernest Istook is).

Oklahoma is a heavily Baptist state, and they tend to vote for other Baptists. Well do these Baptists understand that in 2004 a vote for the DemocRAT senate candidate is a vote for "gay marriage" regardless of whether that candidate is Baptist?
