That's the trouble. No frontrunner and all have their geographical base. Schwarz and DeWeese should split some of the vote. Bisbee is bad on guns(almost as bad as Schwarz, just quieter), but had Jackson. DeRossett has the most money and has won a tough race before. Walberg seems to have strong organization and has won tough races as well in Lenawaee. Brad Smith is Nick's son and had the last name.

None really stand out.

Walberg is the religious conservative, right? I say we just go with him. Lenawee is a swing area, and if he won there he can obviously appeal not only to Republicans but conservative Democrats as well. I don't anything about those candidates except what you have told me, so feel free to ignore my suggestion, but it seems to me that we need a candidate that transcends geography and appeals to an ideological constituency (such as religious conservatives) in order to defeat a RINO based in Battle Creek.

None of this would have happened had they placed Battle Creek in Upton's district and Kalamazoo in Hoekstra's district like I said they should. : )
