Why do you live in Washington?

Why do you live in Washington?A couple of reasons...
I was born here
I got a job here after I got out of the Air Force and bought a house here...
I like Mexico, but it is no place to live if one is old..IMO
.....Westy.....

Well my reason for NYC was to study Opera and I married my husband here!
To: restornu
Fair enough, but I could never live in such a congested area...To many people cheek to jowl for me..like at least a little elbow room..lol..

The fish destroyed the happiness of much of America last night.
I'm rooting for the Sox, but why do I think that's not a good sign?
If Pup were here I'd bet on the Yankees....if he took the bet it would be a sure sign of another year of the curse working.

Just heard that the boat pilot fled, and then tried to kill himself.
With a pellet gun?!

Linda drew jury duty once for a civil suit where someone was suing the manufacturer of a nail gun because some worker had shot himself.
She was asked if she knew anything about nail guns. She said, "Sure, my husband showed me how you use them and about the double safety it has so someone has to not be paying attention to actually hurt themselves."
Instant dismissal.
What does that mean for a court to not be interested in the truth?

As you know, both lawyers would like twelve rocks empaneled to try the case.
The joke's on us.
Cheers up there.

NYT won't let me in.
:-(
Local Newspaper said he merely used the pellet gun and that he's currently being evaluated or such.
Besides, our local paper likes to get it wrong often enough for me to not pay attention to them.
(On my step-daughter's death, they had only her name, age, make and year of her car, and that she was dead correct. Everything else was like a Jayson Blair article. Times Herald Record.)

Everything else was like a Jayson Blair article. That is true of every story of any kind in any paper that I ever had personal knowledge of or learned the true details of from a friend.
I have never seen a single story in a newspaper that anyone would coroborate as true in any detail.

The article about a friend of mine who died on that same road was incorrect.
It said he was speeding.
He never smarted off with his car in his life.
His father got the car, Z version of the Lumina sedan, and he took one look at it and said, "I don't want it."
The question 'why' was answered with, "I'm going to die in this thing."
He had no idea it was the Z version, it had all it's badges ID'ing it as such removed.
When I told him it was the Z, he turned pale.
That weekend, he tried to do a panic stop to not hit an animal, and stomped the gas instead.
He hit a tree and had his chest crushed, at around 70 and accelerating.
The speed limit on that road is 55.
I still can't go to where he's buried without thinking of that article.
