A man escaped jail by digging a hole from his jail cell to the outside world.

When finally his work was done, he emerged in the middle of a preschool playground.

"I'm free, I'm free!" he shouted.

"So what," said a little girl. "I'm four."

Dreamers!

the camera reads the light for exposure from the center of the frame... if a bright sky is in the middle, the foreground will be very dark. Sometimes I take two pics of the same scene, one with the sky in the middle, and the other with the ground in the middle - then combine them for proper exposure in both contrasting areas.

Sounds complicated. This one I don't think I did anything to.

In a picture with a washed out white sky, but good detail on the ground, you can make it more interesting by adding a nice sky to the white area. I have a collection of sky photos, plus I take a few each time I'm out taking pictures, to have some that will blend in well with the scene. Just make sure the direction of the sun in the sky you choose corelates to the shadows in the picture.

Open the photo of the scene, and open the sky photo in your image program (I use Paint Shop Pro 7) then copy the sky and paste it as a new layer over the scene. Then in the layers tool, reduce the sky's opacity to 50% so the scene below shows through. Move it around a bit until it matches up well, then, with your lasso selection tool, select the portion of the sky you don't need, and delete it. Then change the mode of the sky layer from "normal" to "darken" and adjust the opacity again until it is what you want.
Let me make a quicj before and after picture to show you.

Hi Nully. How is it going? Are you having any luck at all finding a job? Are you expanding your horizons beyond the eastern boundaries of Mexifornia? There is life after California, honest.

I have had the news off for better than a week and a half now. My blood pressure is near perfect. LOL! I've lost 25 pounds (no, not in a week and half) and am actually thinking there may be a life out there somewhere. Of course, spending time with the kids helped. It always helps me to adjust my perspective. I got to meet the boyfriend this trip. She says he's a redneck. I was impressed with his ability to carry on an intelligent comversation anyway.

Most of the trestles have burned Westy. A great loss indeed. And I sure haven't heard of any rain forecast. Another HOT day today. The water bombers were just going steady yesterday. I think I mentioned this last night. They were flying over our office one after the other ALL day long. They were low enough that I could read the plane numbers!! On Castanet today there is a blurb about some of the firefighters near the breaking point. We have imported a lot of new ones but the locals won't take a break!!

Who me?

Actually, pretty much the same as last time, I pointed out the difference between pro life and conservative.
