honey chile, no more so than it did the rest of us. that is the point. it is painful to YOU, but they do it once or twice and they sleep through the *ing night thereafter! you are no more softhearted a mother than we are. she is CLEARLY eating enough to get her through the night, the sucking is for comfort and not for sustenance or because her belly is empty! and at this point is just a bad habit that has you overtired and on edge. think about it. really the book will explain it better, but it does work, and it will just be one or two nights of you listening to it, and you will have a better sleeping household thereafter.

I'll get hubby to take me to the bookstore tonight near the restaurant we are going to. We get a night ALONE to eat in peace!!! (we have to pick the kids up by 10, but it's better than nothing!) I'm just sitting here waiting for 7pm to get here when hubby gets off work.

good for you guys with a meal alone together. that is very good. i am serious about the crying it out. i didn't think i could do it either, but once you realize no one ever DIED from crying, and they do tire themselves out and go to sleep, and they DO then figure, geez, she's not going to come in here and get me and let me suck, so i am just wasting my dang time, i might as well just SLEEP! you will be a new woman once you get uninterrupted sleep again.

If we do it on the weekend when hubby is done with the 6 day workweeks it sound like a good idea. Her crib is in our bedroom too and he gets cranky if he doesn't get to bed and to sleep when he wants to. lol We only have 2 bedrooms so one of the kids has to be in there with us since i don't trust the toddler alone with her more than 10 seconds.

LEbro was a basketcase with food. Mother let him get away with it too. She prepared 2 meals to satisfy his freaky tastes. wrong, wrong, wrong!

With at least 3 of us here not liking him, you'd think it's up to 2% by now.

"Are you the one organizing these things?"M'lady," he answered diffidently, "If "I" were to ever organize a "flash mob" event, the results (and reasons why) would certainly be transparently obvious to the most abs-stute observer. "

I think the flash mob thing is hilarious and likely creates a little business for the store when they are done.

Lol, smart move! I just don't have a hubby and live to far from the stores to walk. It's taxi's if I have to leave the house and I hate it. They cost an arm and a leg! Now that I'm back on line, I'll be doing just about everything on line from now on!
