OH! And now you've got the precious. It is only fitting that a hobbit should have it. You must have had your coffee now.

I wrote crap, too. But I wrote complete crap...you wrote unfinished crap. Or something.

Honestly, we come for the Tolkien and stay for the food. Ruthy puts out a breakfast spread like no other. And Corin does the dishes.
Also, some of the funniest things I've read on FR have been from those Hobbits, Elves and Dwarves (and I suspect some Ents) in the Hobbit Hole.

Morlock and Eloi I do not know. *shrugs* Sorry.

I guess you'll have to go through all 58,302 posts to find them though! Heh...we're runnin' out of room. Reckon PJ would mind if we made this thread The New New Hobbit Hole?

Some Freepers who used to post on News Activism now have become Hobbit cultists. I mention no names....Ruthie.I think I'd rather be a Tolkienist than a From Here to Eternityist.

It's from H.G. Wells - The Time Machine. And Morlocks ARE kinda like orcs. The similarities end there.

There are HUNDREDS of funny short stories in the Hobbit Hole.Well, no offense 2J, but IMO there is a potential funny story in a family having a "Two Pumpkin Pies for Two Dead Guys" celebration! Very good cause for celebration. But, I could find a number of funny spins on that one.
I just wish I'd thought of that celebration first - oh yeah, it wouldn't work for me my kids left home.

Just means you would have to eat both pies yourself. I could think of worse things! :-)

I think I want my two pies to be coconut and not punkin though. I'm not a punkin fan.
BUT! Do you have any idea what that would do to my new food intake maintenance program? Oh well, it's for a great cause, I should do it anyway. You want to come bring the kids over?

I think I'd rather be a Tolkienist than a From Here to Eternityist. If you thoroughly study James Jones (From Here To Eternity) you will discover the key to writing GREAT fiction. I find James Jones to be the most fascinating author I have ever come across. And I discovered a great secret of his on how to write good fiction. I won't reveal it here because I plan to use his ideas in future writing contests and I don't want more competition than is necessary. BTW, a lot of divers who don't even know anything about James Jones consider his Go To The Widowmaker to be the BEST novel about scuba/skin diving ever written. I am always amused when divers tell me about that book yet they are unaware of the background of the author.

A little PRI humor there. (Note: See La Ley De Herodes.

I will as long as you promise that the galactic clouds posted there don't look like outlines of Hobbits.I thought you said you have moved on. For someone who has moved on, you sure do dwell on Hobbits a lot.
