Sadly, the truth is the American public doesn't care.

Actually, they just understand it's better to be safe than sorry. They are happier to have gotten rid of Saddam and not found any weapons than have him still around and not know what he has. It's that simple. People like you and the Dems don't seem to get it.

It might be a mole...people have been known to sign up at FR several years ago, lurk, and then post a thread like this.

Shrub? I think Ann Richards called him that. He kicked her teeth in.

Yep, that was big-haired Ann. She was trying to be cute and said the George W. wasn't even a bush, he was a shrub. Ann's most famous "witticism" was when Lily Tomlin wrote a joke for her about George W. being "born with a silver shoe in his mouth". This should tell you something about Ann Richard's sense of humor. And Dubya trounced her in the gubernatorial race after politely ignoring her stupidities, which encouraged Ann to make an even bigger $ss of herself.

That was George H.W. not George W. "Poor George, he was born with a silver foot in his mouth." Dubya got her back for dad.

I'm sorry, I get the Georges mixed up. It's not hard to do. As one wit said, "Clinton will be remembered as hiding between two bushes."

I like the nickname Shrub. Reminds me of the foolishness of the hapless lefties who so overconfidently dismissed him as "Shrub", and then didn't notice until it was far too late, that he was strolling surefootedly up the mountain, atop which their flimsy candidate was so precariously perched. And I don't think they use it much anymore, for the same reason. Besides, I hear Shrub is fond of bestowing similar nicknames on high ranking members of both parties. It's all in fun. Shrub Power!

You just keep believing that. Just hold on to your assumption that major media newsrooms are representative of what the country at large is thinking.

Then, you can wonder why you get shellacked on election day when everyone you know voted Democrat.
