Good morning! Here at the library, sitting in the A/C listening to Jim Quinn and enjoying the holiday. Quite the weather yesterday, eh? Fortunately, on my side of our state it looked far worse than it actually turned out, I have got to stop listening to those over-hyped bloviating weather terrorists, they will make one crazy, or at least MORE crazy than norbal! ;)

Hi, J. Inasmuch as I hate the hot weather, I have resolved not to grouse too much considering the brutal winter we all suffered through which just seems like last month. Speaking of such, what the H happened to spring? It sprung like for a whole week and disappeared. Sheesh!

Oh, yeah, I DO remember that light falling! [And the lying pair as well, yuck!] Who was it that was frightened so much [to our utter delight] a couple years back, think it was on Fox news, maybe Jesse [preacher without a flock] Jackson? Such a look on his face when that light popped, I laughed till my face hurt!

I just knew summer would make its appearance like this...very hot after weeks of cool, wet, non-springy weather. Good thing I mostly raise bulletproof flowers...they have to adapt quickly!

UOX42 and his lovely wife Brunhilda are in London stirring up trouble today. I am sinceely hoping she doesn't run in 2004, because I will no doubt have to cut ties with one of my sisters. I can only be polite for so long.

Speaking of celebrating the anniversary of our Nation's independence by blowing up a small part of it, after the nth pack of firecrackers going off what seemed to be right next to my head, I treated the offending neighbors to a 45-minute fusillade, courtesy of a big box of fireworks I bought in 1988 but did not use as that summer was just too dry. Needless to say, it should be a good, long while before they make so much as another peep. Har!
