Got to get dinner going....Will have more time to play this weekend. Ozzie is off on family (his) this weekend and I will have the house to my little self (well Taco and Missie will keep me company) so I can play here longer....hard to do when there is always someone around or company is in the house...

What I'm doing is no big deal. Bought a inexpensive HP photo scanner..It came with simple software and the ability to upload the pics to hpphoto. From there you choose the one you want and post it like you would any pic.....Val and Gran have fancier scanners and software that does a lot more to the scans.....
If an old phart like me can do what I do anybody can.....lol

Wow, We used to do lots of puzzles and look for ones just like your pic, Gran, that is quite the composition. Got some hard areas for the sky in the top right, that water would actually prove to be quite tough, the shingle sides on the two sheds would be a bit confusing for a piece or two, but it would feel like an accomplishment when it was done.

Wes--if you remember the theory behind diapers from back then, you wanted to keep a boy dry and cool in the bottom so you used those and changed the diapers frequently, and then the disposable diapers and 'long-lasting' disposable diapers came along -- and you didn't worry about keeping the boy dry and cool anymore, it was all for the convenience of the mom. Well -- astounding revelation -- the generation that wound up with the bottoms that had never cooled down had the same symptoms as the poor miscreants that had testicles which never descended. Turns out the infertility and diminished sperm counts that are prevalent among today's youth are caused by the long-lasting insulation packed around those organs while they are developing -- and if they don't develop when young -- they never again mature. So -- you get these poor ridalin addicted misfits on testosterone remedys... And it was all because the bloomers fell out of fashion. Look at the jaws, does the poor boy have a girl's triangular jaw? He was somewhat castrated by long lasting disposable diapers back when it mattered. Is he thin boned? Does he have an unusually long neck? Is he effeminate? Cowardly? Shifty and shallow? Won't look you in the eye and mutters when he answers? Won't use sentences and sniggers a lot .....

I better get out of here before I get on a roll.

That was quite the lecture....Don't know that I knew much about diapers back when I was wearing them...Oh well, the human race is reaching the point where it doesn't need males anymore...Women can do everything but fertilize themselves and can't they just prick an egg with a needle and it developes.... Or don't I know what I'm talking about...lol

But I just can't.

I've had to lay real low for a week since we are working like flogged dogs here getting ready for a trade show -- but I got the last of the engineers out of here a few minutes ago and that let me get back to what I love best -- hanging out on Freeople/DD for a bit. (That and 3 cups of Java Jim's best)

Wife's waiting for me at home -- she wants to take me shopping -- Kids are behaving since they want to go to the mall and get an advance on their allowances -- and get permission to go out with a boyfriend -- So I have to scoot.

Naah-- It wouldn't be right since -- tragedy -- by the time a person realizes he's been raised like that -- akin to the moment a steer realizes it's not a bull -- it is much too late and much too wrong to delve into the subject more.

Thank goodness my mom saw fit to put me on a blanket for extended periods of time where all photographs had to be taken from a certain angle. She was an old-time mom.

Count your blessings where you can, and never forget what your mom said -- If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all.

That is just a wonderful picture, Westy...Granma Lindeke looks a little like a pic I have of me and my brother with my great grandmother...Uncle Ed is quite handsome as well...looks like you come from strong, good locking stock...
