Given Werner Von Braun's assertions to his PhD assistant that the war on terror followed by the war on Iraq would be followed by an unnecessary war on ET . . . perhaps we should give more thought to the historical record--as spotty, mysterious, convoluted etc. as it is.

Then there's that story of UFO's over Iraq recently. Still trying to track those down.

Sometime I'll have to tell you about the sister of one of my brother's friends who told me when I was a kid about an uncle of hers that was in the Army and worked with a guy who had gotten his plum job of driving brass around because he was a big-shot hero from exploits on a XXX super secret triple 007 project underneath the earth's crust where he was wounded battling space aliens and mole people. von Braun never said any of those things. It's just made up crap meant to influence public opinion. That anyone takes such conspiracy twaddle seriously is hard to believe.

However, the following is real. :') In one of the (previously unpublished) photos taken of the infamous debunking press conference, General Ramey was holding a memo or telegram or some other sort of typed document.
