Unfortunately, they suck too, but not as much. Poor decision making skills will mess up whatever you've tried to accomplish, which is why it's so important to ask for help and advice when you're faced with certain choices.

Too bad I don't know of any good way to help such people become better decisions, since I suspect the difference between rich and poor has as much to do with decision-making ability as with income.
