No. At least not that I noticed. At first all my pics were cropped and I was real disappointed. But after a few days all the cropping was gone. Don't know why they did that. Maybe they want to check out new accounts before they give you full privileges.

Does Shutterfly resize the linked images like picturestage and photisland does?
I honestly don't know...give it a try; as I recall it was quick to register - then you could cruise around it and find out.

How dependable is IPower? I'm looking for possible alternatives to APlus.net. They are unbelievably reliable, but they charge extra for PHP support, mySQL, SSL, etc.. I need more features, but I don't want to put any clients up onto slow or balky servers.

I've never had any problem - and I've had some pretty HUGE multimedia files on the server before.
Try going to netcraft.com and do an uptime analysis on host(x).ipowerweb.com (where x = number, ie: host12.ipowerweb.com)
You see that they are fast, use Linux, and the uptime is pretty darn good.
