A GOOD A.M. TO ALL FROM THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST, USA!!!!
CNN, their hole is being dug deeper and deeper, insiders talking, not competing networks. Great. They sided with 'the Evil One' and it is coming home to haunt them.
The war has turned out just wonderful. I get mad seeing those folks in country demostrating against us but hey, that is what it is all about, that freedom thing, isn't it? In the northern cities let the Kurds take care of the demostations, those folks would only do it one time. Then send them to Baghdad, that would take care of the situation.
Now, to the man I have leaned to respect to the fullest. Col. Oliver North. A 60 year old man who was embedded with the troops and has held his own + some. He is in the thick of things and never once have I heard him complain, not one word. He does his job and does it well and I salute him. I STILL ask ALL to email FOX and request that they have a long program on the embedded reporters for us to see and admire. I DO NOT want Geraldo to take the program over cause he would ruin it. Put it on a special program in prime time. They deserve it. Reporting is a new ball game after this. Respect has been leaned for sure, from both sides.
The Republacracts, the ones who try to be popular for both sides, that dog don't hunt. Snow, Grassley, what makes them think that the nomey we send in taxrs to Washington is theirs, we have nothing to say what is to be done with it. They cut the President on his reform, we should cut them from congress. IF you have a reason to write them put their name then (RC) beside it, call them what they are.
We still need to keep our troops and OUR President W in our prayers, there are still tough times ahead for them. Prayers for all with those special needs and, for the elderly, that bunch of us who are so proud of what you young folks are getting done in this ole world. Have a good day, a VERY GOOD day.

Morning Gulf...
Speaking of Ollie North, he relayed a story yesterday on Hannity's talk show that you'll appreciate.
They flew into an area that was a hot LZ along the Tigress River to re-supply, and take out wounded. A Marine ran up to the chopper, with his leg bandaged from an RPG injury, and handed North a note without looking. The Marine screamed, "Give this note to the Commanding Officer, and tell him to send us any ammo he can get his hands on. We need anything and everything we can get." He then looked up, and saw Ollie's face. The Marine stopped dead in his tracks and said, "Ollie F#**ing North, what are you doing here?!"
Ollie yelled he's covering the news, and helping out where he can.
The Marine said, "Wait a minute", took out a camera from his pocket and took 2 pictures of Ollie, and the guys in the chopper. He then said, "Gotta go!" He then picked up his weapon and ran back to the firefight!
They evacuated the Marine 5 hours later.
Humbles you, doesn't it?!

I saw that and wow, left an impression for sure. What I like about North is that he does not let age get in his way, a inspiration to us older folks, I am just a few years older than he is and he give me something to strive for. We call a man like North down here 'a true gentleman of the colors'.

Great story...Wasn't it?!
Ollie talked glowingly of these guys, and their courage, and dedication to duty.
All this nonsensicle talk a few years ago about whether we had anyone who would be willing to fight for this country has been put to rest.
I always thought we would, and this proves it in spades!

I always thought we would, and this proves it in spades! Also shows the courage and dedication in these youngsters. Makes me proud to be an American knowing these guys are taking good care of us and our liberties!

I heard North talking about that on television the other day. I believe that was the Marine who was wounded (a captain, I believe) and was interviewed on Fox.
He was extremely articulate, nice-looking, and very impressive.
I told my husband I expected Marine recruitment to shoot through the roof after this war.
The FUNNIEST interview was with a Marine reservist that Rick Leventhal did. He was interviewing a bunch of them and asking them what they did when they weren't serving with the Reserves.
Many answered "student" or "programmer" or "police."
But this one guy, from Las Vegas, with his glasses up on the top of his head, was a FASHION CONSULTANT!! No joke! That is NOT a profession that I would have thought the Marines would draw from ! He explained that he was a consultant for showgirls, strippers, and porn stars!! LOL!
Rick cut short the interview...

Porn stars?
Hey Ma... Guess who's coming to dinner?
But God bless all these guys. They are the backbone of our Country.
The likes of Daschle, Kennedy, Leahey, Robbins, and Sarandon will always pale in comparision.

Things won't be better for a while. I have faith in God and friends that pray for us. It's all part of life.
Fox is reporting that Dr. Atkins has died from his head injuries.

Yeah, CNN was in full propaganda throttle last night, whining about the unrest in Mosul. They must look long and hard for Iraqis who don't like Americans and interview them all. Of course, CNN neglects the point that the unrest has followed the military as they take more and more ground, and that the unrest is soon pretty much gone. The Iraqis and the coalition are working together to take care of the problem. And I just want to yell at CNN "It's only been a week since Baghdad was liberated! Give it some time!!!"
