Hello folks,
"Marty" - a guy over at the White Council with a SAG pass - got into the early SAG screening yesterday. And he is fielding questions on what happens the movie. There are about 15 pages of forum posts to sift through.
Every spoiler you could want is here. Be warned.
Link Here to White Council Spoilers Thread
Let me warn you again: Marty spoils just about every detail. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU'RE NOT SURE YOU WANT TO READ IT.
For those who don't, I will add that Marty summed up: "I spent most of the film with a lump in my throat."
P.S. I think Marty's legitimacy has been fairly well established - for those who are skeptical.

What are you using to play it on, Corin?
I saved it to my hard-drive, and am using RealOne to watch it...sound isn't a problem.

I've had nothing but problems with Windoze Media Player since the latest version came out.
I bagged it and have been using QuickTime for .avi's and RealOne for everything else.

To: HairOfTheDog
I downloaded it in Winamp, it wouldn't play.

These computers are persnickety things.... You have the latest DivX codec? Download the free DivX player from Divx.com and see if that is it.
To: HairOfTheDog
nope, I'll try that next. I downloaded it again with the "all files" that dosent work either.

OK - I am going to guess that is it.... These are all recorded in DivX.... You don't have to play it in DivX, but installing that player will install the codecs you need for it to work....
Corin, see above. Get the smallest free player at Divx.com
To: HairOfTheDog
I installed it and then restarted my computer, I have no idea if It will help but It's worth a try. Besides I feel like I'm fixing it so I'm not freaking out. Now it tells me there is a serious error and Microsoft doesn't want to or can't do anything about it.
My only consolation is i saw the footage of Sam Frodo, and Gollum yesterday on the official site. It made me cry.
It's only 10 days till the movie comes out anyway. I guess I'll have to wait.
