I was more worried about Frodo losing his Ring than I was about my best man losing my wifes on our wedding day. That is a cute statement... I am not married, but I think I know the sentiment... I am gonna worry for a whole 'nother year about my Frodo!
To: ecurbh
No, you are right. Time is slowing down.
5 days, 12 hours, 40 minutes 33 seconds... 32 seconds, 31 seconds.... Yep! The seconds are taking at least 3 seconds!
My dreams started again last night. That helps!

Here, maybe
this will help. ;-)

"5 days, 12 hours"
Someone going to a midnight showing??? I've got to wait until Wed around noon!
To: ecurbh
Wow! ;~D I think that is a lot of yowsa for a little hobbit-lass like myself though! Give me strength.
To: Texas2step
Yep! - Midnight showing! First time I will have done that! - Very exciting!
To: ecurbh; HairOfTheDog
Send some of that 'yowsa' THIS way!

This is my favorite of the three reviews, the others were a little too critical, I thought.
"The scale and brutality of the conflict that rages for the last hour of this film makes the opening forest battle in Gladiator look like a tear-up between the Ground Force team and some irate shoppers at a garden centre in the Cotswolds."
Vaughan has a way with words, for sure... :-D

I agree, completely. He does have a way with words. Not bad for his first review!

In fact, if you add The Godfather trilogy, all five Star Wars films and Gone With The Wind together, then multiply them by Gandhi, youre still not coming close to the epic quality, depth and attention to detail of this famous trilogy.Just thought that this quote bore repeating. ;^)

It is an interesting quote... I am trying to picture a film with all those characters in it!
To: HairOfTheDog
And just imagine the dialog!
"Frankly my dear, meesa make him an offer he couldn't refuse." :P

HA!
You came up with the line I could not craft... I tried to think of one!
To: HairOfTheDog
Never seen Ghandi, though, so I was at loss to include that one too.
