The source is the radical teaching, and state funding.Applicable to modern liberalism, as well as Islamifascism.

Historically..Islam produces leaders who in the end..must show power.
Its part of the Islamist psychy.
Even Gammel Abdel Nasser was driven by the ground floor throng to "Give us Victory over the infidel".
More calculating types..less interested with "Winning the minds of the people"..like Assad Senior thru in on the political roll.
The same gyrating throng that drove Nasser in his day exists today in Egypt...other nations..less visible in that time..now tower upward with the gyrating throngs..ie Lebanon...Pakistan...the Palestinians.
2 nations who could tip the scales in all this is Iran and Syria.
Both with histories of throwing in..and getting pounded for doing so.
America and Israel....Trying to keep the domino's from falling.

Historically..Islam produces leaders who in the end..must show power. And almost all of them meet a bitter end, yet none seem to learn from past experience. They are quite a bit like the domestic liberal in that regard ...

Thus, despite efforts by the Bush administration and others aimed at convincing Americans that Islam is a peaceful religion, many, if not most, Americans are unconvinced Actually, the harder the administration tries to convince us of Islam's peaceful ways, the more skeptical we become.

This thread has become quite heated on the subject of the possible end games between Islam and the West.
"Why We Are Losing the War"
It's a real barn burner.

"After the world woke up to the threat that Hitler posed, Nazism was defeated and ceased to be in fashion. Had this not happened, the world would have become a death camp."
Notice that it was not necessary to kill every German citizen in order to stop Nazism in it's tracks.
Hopefully, the coming confrontation will not have to cut any deeper into the Muslim population, than absolutely necessary, in order to bring this movement to a halt, also.

"Yessir, I see it all now. Jesus sittin' up there in heaven, making sure that we win...a war which in in direct contradiction to everything he taught during his short life on earth."
I take it that you are either not a Christian or not familiar with scripture.

I take it that you are either not a Christian or not familiar with scripture. It's just all of that troublesom stuff about loving your neighbor as yourself, the meek shall inherit the earth, blessed are the peacemakers.... that sort of thing.
Were not those concepts central to Christ's teachings?
Or have modern conservative Christians found another way to understand?
