"The witness had early replied he had never seen/heard of evidence that mummification like this would impact access to body."

I agree..I do remember that and him agreeing that he's not had personal observation..

WRT: the rest of it..yes, but does not hearing about it make it not so? (unless I missed yer point..)

Can't find ,so far, the exact figure. Memory says the trail was 80-90 feet.

But the drag marks were not the entire trail. What orange blanket? Where is this blanket? Is it with my briefcase that has $1,000,000 in it ?,

Yes, you should keep better track of your stuff. What would be signs that it was elsewhere? Low bug activity, high degree of mummification

From what I understand, the body didn't have other evidence that it was somewhere else.

I'm going to have to chastise my source, cuz he distinctly said there's a few core "DW groupies", (his words, not mine) the most vocal ones here, and the rest of lurking.

That particular line of questioning, dusek was pointing out the moisture factor...and that the bugs would not have crawled in through the anus if the moisture was absent.

The way I understood this line of questioning was after he had established (or attempted to) that the flies had not entered/laid eggs in head region, he then said, "and common areas of access are eyes, nosa, vaginal areas." Then he says something to the effect of, "but the anus would be tight wouldn't it and flies would not be able to access that region." When witness balked, Dusak again stated that anus as compared to ears and mouth would not be as open and would be tight as in skin touching skin. The witness was not allowed to explain how mucles relax so witness just said that the flies would get in period.
At this point Dusak does another 360 degree flip and says but with moisture absent flies would not have crawled thru anus. Witness, I belive, agreed to this because if moisture WERE absent flies would not have crawled in.

This is how I heard this exchange, it is by no means exact.

Moisture evaporated...because of temp, santa ana winds and possibly the heat radiating off of the roads.

I think she would to have had to have been a wee bit closer to the road (like laying on it). AND, the prosecution has been trying to claim the temperature was below freezing for at least 2 weeks. Little hard for roads temps to affect a body that far away, wouldn't you agree?

Is that suit red or orange? Or orangish-red? Or reddish orange? Or bright orange? It looks kind of dull to me.

It's a shame you couldn't have apologized for that garbage you posted about my boasting about not watching the Prosecutions witnessess. Which, is about as wrong as it gets.

I recall you saying during the prosecution case that you were tuning them out and just waiting for Feldman, sw.

Not injecting myself between you and redlipstick except to say she was not off base in her characterization of what you said.

You may have been facetious, but you said it. And I'm not going to bother to go back to find it

Correction: Their best start minimum dates for bug activity range from 9 Feb to 16 Feb. This should not be ignored.

Absolutely not...That's the Nancy Grace spin. Each gave range. The end dates given are associated with the minimum time necessary for the ovserved results, the start dates indicate the maximum time for the observed results. Any more time and the insect activity would have proceeded to a more advanced stage.

Dusek is trying to claim the body was 'completely mummified, but if that were the case, there would be no flies, PERIOD!! Hall is correcting the whole misunderstanding concerning the area of 'mummification' by using the word 'dryness' instead, since the body was hardly 'mummified' at all.

Yeah, (smacks forehead) I missed that. Shezza, quick, you need to check the fibers and see if they are "similar".

Thanks.. I agree with your comments but don't remember that witness trying to talk about muscle relaxation. Could be one of the times the dern realplayer stalled...maybe duseks is controlling our real players! :)

"the most vocal"

think we're all pretty vocal over there. Amazing the freedom you have to state your mind without hazardous waste being thrown at you.

Choate Machine & Tool, Inc.

This is a great rifle stock, from Choate...I have a Savage Arms in .308 mounted.  Looks good, and groups quite nicely....very affordable...
