So if a juror decides to effectively ignore bug science, it is reasonable.Disagree...Despite all the smoke and fog thrown out by the prosecution, all four bug guys basically agree. Their best start dates for bug activity range from 9 Feb to 16 Feb. This should not be ignored.

He is asking the questions in a way that the witness has no choice but to answer one way to (even though by doing so implies/infers something totally incorrect) which is why the witness is balking and may seem to be dodging the question. The witness should probably try answering as Dusak is insisting (hard as that might be) and trust Feldman to redirect and expose Dusak's attempt at dumbing down the jury.
I think Dusek had this guy frustrated for a while until Hall caught on to his little game. Dusek has been trying to get tis guy to answer 'yes' to questions that are designed to misrepresent the facts and the opinon of this witness. Once Hall figured out what Dusek was doing, he started answering with 'no', 'not really', or 'not necessarily', which forced Duselk to ask 'why?' or 'why not? Then Hall could give a complete answer that would not mislead the jury or the facts. Once Hall figured this out, his frustration with Dusek's tactics vanished and now he seems to enjoying his exchanges and making Dusek look stupid. It is now so bad for Dusek that there is even occasional laughter at Dusek's feeble attempts to make his points.

Yes Kayti! I'd sure like to hear from that source. It would certainly contradict all those whose first post is a relief to finally post and talk in peace. Plus those who are talking about leaving FR or stopping funding of FR, because of it.

You're right... just like Dusuck... when you don't have the facts in your favor... make up a story that will fit your premise.

Correction: Their best start minimum dates for bug activity range from 9 Feb to 16 Feb. This should not be ignored.

Hey, if my source is incorrect and you guys have over 100 people posting over there on even a semi-regular basis..more power to ya! That's awesome..really.

Have you noticed how many of the people on UCANSEE2's ping list never come onto these threads? just for the record, i am on the ping list and i come to the threads everyday--i hardly ever post, though, unless i feel i have something important to add (these threads are long enough!) oh- and PS, i love the parodies--keep 'em coming!

The witness had early replied he had never seen/heard of evidence that mummification like this would impact access to body. Only when Dusek narrowed him down with selective questioning to personal observations did he then have to admit he had not (to personal observation). An expert would be familiar with many other cases and research in the field and rely on personal observation. Those fiber and DNA experts are in trouble if they have to personally observe a similar case before to make they can state there expert opinion.

so almost a hundred people post over there? That's incredible!!
To: hoosiermama

Oh heck...I don't know what the big deal is? For those who don't know what FR Refugee is, it's just a little refugee site, that FReepers who want to discuss the case without a bunch of flames can go and have a nice, polite exchange of ideas about the trial. We even have a few laughs and giggles and a few who are on the Prosecutions side...believe it or not.
We may have a person or two that have left FR for whatever reason, but it is PRO Free Republic and our first alligance is to FR and it's founder, Jim Robinson..and anyone who tries to imply differently is very wrong.

Sorry it took so long.
Not familiar with the distance involved
Can't find ,so far, the exact figure. Memory says the trail was 80-90 feet.
but my assumption was that any dragging would have been from pulling the orange blanket out from under her.
What orange blanket? Where is this blanket? Is it with my briefcase that has $1,000,000 in it ?
I also would put more weight on her being dumped within 24 hours of her abduction Based on what, in particular? no signs on the body that it was eslwhere.
What would be signs that it was elsewhere? Low bug activity, high degree of mummification?
To: UCANSEE2
Um, I think that briefcase has MY initials on it.
